The My account section is where you keep your agency's contact info and profile details up to date. This article covers what you can change yourself, which fields require contacting support, and how the verification flow works for protected changes.
For password changes, login recovery, and account security, see Account Security: Password & Login.
Where to find it
In the agency dashboard sidebar, look under the Account group:
My account — your editable agency info
Security — password and login settings
Support — help articles and contact
The page is titled Account information and shows a green Verified badge next to the title — this confirms your agency is fully set up on the platform.
Editing your agency info yourself
For fields that you can change directly:
Click Edit Information (top right, pencil icon)
Update the fields in the Edit Account Information modal
Click Edit Profile to save
Your changes apply immediately.
What you can change yourself
Field | Notes |
Agency Name | Display name your creators and team see |
Contact name | Primary contact person for your agency |
Location | City or area you operate from |
Years in operation | How long your agency has been running |
Hosts/models count | Your current roster size |
These fields are informational and can be updated anytime without affecting access or payouts.
Fields that require contacting support
Three fields are locked from direct editing for security reasons:
Email (your login email)
Phone number
Country
To change any of these, you'll need to contact KNKY support and complete a short verification step.
Why these fields are protected
Email is your login credential and your password reset path — if it were freely editable, anyone who briefly accessed your account could permanently take it over by switching the email to one they control. Phone and Country are tied to identity and payout routing.
Locking them behind a support-verified flow protects your agency from this kind of takeover.
How to change a protected field
Contact KNKY support through the Support section of your dashboard or by replying to a KNKY email
Tell support which field you want to change and what you want to change it to (e.g. "I want to update my login email from
old@example.comtonew@example.com")Support will ask you to provide a short verification video — this is the same kind of identity check creators use when they change protected fields. You'll be asked to film yourself holding a government-issued ID next to your face and state your request out loud
Once support reviews and approves the video, they'll update the field for you
You'll get a confirmation when the change is complete
💡 Tip: If you need to change multiple protected fields at once (e.g. moving to a new country and updating your phone), mention all of them in your first message to support so they can handle everything in one verification.
Do I need to verify my agency?
No KYC, no document upload at signup. Agencies on KNKY don't have a KYC or business-document verification flow at signup or after — unlike creators (who go through identity verification and proof of address).
The Verified badge on your Account information page appears automatically after KNKY approves your signup application (the 1–2 business day review you went through). It's not something you can apply for or lose.
The only time you'll need to provide identification is when you want to change a protected field (email, phone, or country), as described above.
